Artichokes


Ingredients:




* 4 to 6 artichokes
     (remove stalks and tough leaves, etc.)
* 1 to 2 teaspoons salt
* 1/2 lemon, sliced
* 2 cups hot water

Instructions:


1. Place all ingredients into the crockpot.


2. Cook on low 4 -6 hours.


If you'd like to enhance the taste, you can throw in 6 to 8 peppercorns, some cut celery or onion.
